glo VEO Rooibos Sticks Review 2026
The glo VEO Rooibos is one of the most distinctive products in the heated nicotine category — a tobacco-leaf-free heated stick with a genuinely unique flavour character inspired by South African rooibos tea. If you’re a glo HILO user curious about tobacco-free alternatives, this is our full, honest review.
What Are glo VEO Sticks?
glo VEO sticks are tobacco-leaf-free heated sticks designed for use with glo HILO devices. Like IQOS LEVIA in the IQOS ecosystem, VEO sticks use a non-tobacco nicotine-containing material that heats via induction — delivering nicotine and flavour without any tobacco leaf. They are not nicotine-free.
glo VEO Rooibos: Flavour Profile
The Rooibos variant is the standout in the VEO range. Rooibos — the South African herbal tea — has a naturally warm, slightly sweet, earthy character with subtle woody and vanilla-like undertones. glo has translated this into a heated stick experience that’s genuinely unlike anything else in the category.
The flavour is:
- Warm and smooth — no harshness, no sharp edges
- Subtly sweet — a natural sweetness without being sugary
- Earthy and aromatic — the rooibos character comes through clearly
- Tobacco-free — no tobacco taste whatsoever
It’s a sophisticated, adult flavour that works particularly well as an afternoon or evening stick — warm and comforting rather than sharp or stimulating.

Our Verdict
The glo VEO Rooibos is a genuinely impressive product — unique, well-executed, and a real departure from the standard heated tobacco flavour palette. It won’t replace your everyday tobacco stick, but as an alternative for certain times of day, it’s one of the most interesting heated nicotine products available in 2026. Highly recommended for the curious.
